A couple days ago, I was telling my friend about how my absolute dream job (which I know is a total stretch), is an astronaut. I love space and the stars and the planets. He told me that it was dangerous, and asked what would happen if I died. I said, “If I was to die while on an expedition into space, I think I would be okay. Like if I had landed on the moon first and then on the way back died, that would suck a lot but I think I could die and be overall content because I mean, I was in space. I touched the moon.”

Anyway, this leads me to my point, which is that truth is (#46), I go star-gazing every week in one form or another. When I’m out late on the weekend with a friend, I have to take them to the park or on a walk. I take a friend and point out the few constellations I know. I make them look up at the sky and the stars in the hopes that maybe they too will see the beauty that I see. That maybe, they’ll look at them the way I do, and feel that same flutter in their chest that I get in mine. I just can’t help it. Star-gazing is too addicting, and wonderful.
