Ahhh, well I don’t think a true friendship should solely be based off yknow, whether they’re a good time. I can only help you by telling you what I would do in this situation, because I’ve been in it before. Ultimately for me, I can’t be really close friends with someone that I can’t have a good and/or fun conversation with. I think being a fun friend makes a person eligible, and then being a good friend makes them a keeper. It sucks but with all the time I’ll be spending with them, I don’t want my inability to have a fun convo leave me feeling dissatisfied with the friendship. :/ So I guess it really depends on what you want in a friend, and if this person’s good qualities makes up for their inability to have a good conversation, which I find to be an essential characteristic in a friend.
